David guest house offers to guests a relaxing and modern atmosphere, but also remembers the tradition and hence tourists have the chance to meet with nature because the guest house is a place to relax or to go hiking and to go to numerous tourist attractions that are merged only in about 20 km. Rucar is a unique place, a region that is full of tradition and history, it is a connection region and a holder of tourist attractions.
Rucar-Bran aisle, surrounded by Leaota and Bucegi Mountains, by Iezer Papusa and Piatra Craiului Mountains, is a well individualized territorial unit. In this aisle there are numerous tourist regions:
- Bran tourist area, where the main attraction is the castle of Bran, but also the karst forms in the complex Magura-Pestera-Sirnea;
- Podu Dambovitei tourist area, there are many gorges and caves to meet with the other karst forms, so together they have contributed to the enrollment among the most visited areas of the Carpathians;
- Muscel tourist area, where it stands the Roman camp of Scarişoara - Rucar
- The Citadel fortress complex
- Customs points of Dragoslavele and Rucar
- Monument at Mateias
- Tamas-Otic tourist area
- National Park of “Philanderer Stone”
- Cave of Dambovicioara
- Bats Cave (Cave Village)
- Chasms of Zarnesti (a wide canyon of about 4 km, with walls of a height of 200 m)
- Wells of Gentlemen (resurgent wells)
- Fountain of Botorog (captured spring)
- Arcades of Zaplaz
- Devil's Mill
- Pit of Grind (Bottoms)
- Iezer-Papusa Mountains (Rucar);
- Dam of Pecineagu.
- Gorge of Ghimbav – you can get there from Rucar hydropower.
Between Bran and Rucar, it stretches, only about 22.5 km, a fairytale space with hardy settlements along a depression corridor, bordered on one side by Piatra Craiului Mountains, and on the other side by Bucegi Mountains. Hundreds of years ago, here was passing a known trade route linking the towns of Brasov and Campulung.
